Staff INSET Training 2016
Preston International School held its annual Staff In-Service Training (Staff INSET) tagged “New Beginnings” just before the new session resumption. All staff of Preston International School gathered to thank God for the successful completion of a decade of Impact and the raising of next generation leaders.
The directors used this medium to reenact the school polices and declare the vision for the new academic year. New staff joining the Preston workforce had the opportunity to meet with on-ground staff and learn about the expectations of this great citadel of learning.
The teaching staff and house parents sat under the tutorship of the Proprietor shortly after the all Staff INSET to get instructions and directions as to how the school ship will sail in this new era. It was educative and insightful as new teaching techniques were shared, external exam result evaluated and action plan kicked off to ensure that this session starts with a great beginning.
At Preston International School, no one is above learning. Even the teachers learn to teach. The teachers clustered up in their various departments to share views and ideas on how to take the learning experience to the next level. They unlearn, learn and relearn. It was highly impactful.
