Preston International School Comes First at Kidscon 2024 - For the Fourth Time in a Row!
Preston International School has again won the Annual Kidscon Competition with an outstanding performance at the Obafemi Awolowo University Hall, FUTA on Saturday, 18th, May 2024 with several secondary schools across the state who were all gunning for the top spot.
The event had eminent personalities in attendance; such as the representative of the Governor of Ondo State, Engr. Razaq Obe (the Ondo State Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources), His Imperial Majesty, the Deji of Akure, OBA Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Odundun II, Rt Revd Dr Fagbemi (the Lord Bishop of Owo Diocese) and other public figures.
Preston started off with an electrifying bata dance where our students showcased unique and well coordinated moves which saw them through to the final round.
The dance drama performance left the audience in awe, as our students in their beautiful costumes, passed across the importance of Agriculture to solving the economic crisis in the country; it was a spectacular presentation.
Kudos to the brilliant students and their committed trainers who all worked very hard to bring home the beautiful trophy – an additional honor to Preston's expanding list of achievements.
