The 3rd of November, 2018 was no ordinary day for the Ss2 geography students who embarked on an excursion to the Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort located at Ikogosi, Ekiti State, southwestern Nigeria.
They took the trip to experience a more holistic, integrated picture of regional (map reading) and physical geography. The students were given guide to collection of data that provided them with helpful information on how to access places within the site.
Additionally, they observed features such as the thick and green plantation, rolling hills, meeting point of the cold and warm springs with both maintaining their thermal properties at the confluence.
It was a fun and educative experience.
