In September 2014, the Class of 2020 resumed as the 9th set of students to be admitted to Preston International School.
Preston International School held its 14th inter-house sport competition/ athletic meet on the 14th of February, 2020 at the new pavilion in the school’s sport complex. It was ravished with dazzling colours, exquisite decorations and chattering of hope.

In the spirit of the season, Preston International School celebrated its 14th Christmas concert on the 12th December, 2019 with the theme “Prince of Peace”. The event which attracted dignitaries and parents from far and near made a strong peaceful and exciting statement that will surely linger in the hearts of its participants.
Preston had a Christmas lunch in place of the children party and staff party to formalize the Christmas occasion.
The world is blessed with lots of diverse cultures, from Asia to Europe, then to Africa and America. Preston International School went beyond the boundaries of Nigeria to identify with cultures around the world in an event which took a massive twist from its usual form. Four countries from around the world were picked by the school to be celebrated this year in the event tagged “FESTIVAL OF COLOURS” on Saturday, 9th of November, 2019 which is our representation of the International Cultural Day.

Preston international school celebrates world UN day on the 2nd of November with the theme “GALVANIZING MULTILATERAL EFFORTS FOR POVERTY ERADICATION, QUALITY EDUCATION, CLIMATE ACTION AND INCLUSION”
“If you ever think you’re too small to be effective, you’ve never been in bed with a mosquito!” — Wendy Lesko. Preston International School Delegates join other secondary schools in Nigeria to participate in the 15th Nigerian International Secondary Model United Nations (NISSMUN) Conference, which was themed “HARNESSING THE ENERGY AND CREATIVITY OF YOUTH IN PEACE BUILDING, TOLERANCE AND CONFLICT RESOLUTION”.
Man proposes, God disposes. It pleased the Lord to uphold our proposal to launch Preston Superloaf, the first product from Preston Bakery on Tuesday the 1st of October, 2019 as part of the Independence Day celebrations here at Preston. The date was set several weeks before and we are thankful Heaven said “Amen!” for without Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5) “For in him we live, and move, and have our being.”(Acts 17:28)
As part of the programmes listed for the international schools’ award, Preston international school marked the premier edition of the World Food Day celebrations with the theme “Living a Healthy Life for a Zero Hunger World” on the 16th of October, 2019. It was jam-packed with activities like Food posters, videos, slideshow presentations to clearly enlighten the audience on the differences and effects between junks and food. Speeches were made by the dining prefects on zero hunger, food wastage, 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) and reasons for healthy living.
Every good effort deserves a good party. Tornado house members were treated to a well-deserved party on the 5th of October, 2019 having emerged the overall best house for the last session – a reward well worth it.
