At Preston International School, our continued support for recycling is clearly underlined in different specified phases of reduce, reuse and recycle in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). The ISA (International School Award) students working on the ‘Environment and I’ project brought to limelight the benefits of recycling plastics – the durable man-made material present in the earth, the air and in the deepest ocean trenches.
As part of our strategic intents, to develop leadership skills at all levels of the school community; new breeds of prefects that will direct the affairs of the students’ body and help to discharge important duties within the environments and dorms were selected on Friday, 25th June 2021 by the leadership committee.
Happy moments filled the air as the new students were given a warm treat organised by the management of the school to create lifetime memories for them.
It was interestingly a day to reap bountiful harvests on the 27th of May, 2021 as many Prestonians who have diligently sown in tears were recognised to receive their awards for academic and behavioural excellence despite the high standards of our grading system.
The second in-person entrance examination for the 2021-22 academic session was held on the 15th of May, 2021 with all covid-19 protocols duly observed. Prospective parents came with their wards prepared, students and staff warmly welcomed them into the serene environment that stimulates learning.
It is a beautiful Saturday today and the weather is great for our early morning workout with social distancing observed.
As part of our preparation for resumption this term, all staff members of Preston International School (teaching and non-teaching) converged in the school hall for the 15th annual INSET training for all staff.

Joyful, Joyful, We adore Thee – the Almighty, who alone has spared the lives of our students under His wings to have resumed today in readiness for academic activities to commence on Monday 18th January 2021 by His grace.
We are always grateful anytime we have a unique opportunity such as this to gather as a school to celebrate together in unison, especially during this intense pandemic period that has threatened to cripple the education system here and the world at large.
