Preston International School keyed into the independence day celebration that was observed on Monday, 2nd October, 2017. The students started the day with a parade showcasing beautiful boys and girls with touches of green and white as well as the music band in performance.
After a classy show of overall excellence by Aqua from the previous session 2015/2016, the house was awarded with a party which took place on the 30th of September, 2017 which was a very sensational party with a lot of thrilling presentations and jokes.
Honour well deserved, a celebration well merited and a gem uniquely appreciated.
On the 23rd of September 2017, Preston International School celebrated its Proprietress, Mrs Funmi Ajayi in a grand birthday ceremony that pulled two nations into one, described by the Proprietor, Mr Toyin Ajayi as ‘The Tale of Two Cities’ using the modern day technology.
It was all fun in an enthralling atmosphere as the new students of Preston International School enjoyed a grand party that will surely register its welcoming note to this great citadel of learning.
The 11th to 15th September 2017 has been the most exciting and scintillating orientation program for the new jss1 students. They were thought the principles, rules and regulations of the school and were made to recall them as at when requested.
Sixty-one of our JSS2 students and six members of staff under the leadership of the Principal, Mr. Olugbenga Dada embark on a weeklong excursion to Togo on the 29th of July 2017. The essence of this excursion is to;
The 28th of July, 2017 goes down in the annals of the history of Preston International School, Akure as a memorable day in which the 6th set of students tagged ‘THE LAST OF THE TITANS’ - a name earned by virtue of the fact that they are the last set to meet the pioneering set in school – were released into planet earth – to work their divine missions as ‘human gods’ to bring about the much desired change we need in our society and nation.

What a remarkable time in history the 27th of July, 2017 was? The Prize Giving ceremony for the 3rd term 2016/17 session was filled with life and excitement as rewards flowed out freely to those who had burnt the midnight candle and channeled their effort smartly to earn a prize.
The long awaited drama with the caption - "THIS IS OUR CHANCE" has finally been staged.
Preston organised an enthralling programme on Tuesday the 25th of July, 2017 captioned, "WHO WANTS TO BE A WOW KID" where a student representing his/her house would take the hot seat before the moderator and answer questions directed at him/her.
