Our belief system, ways of life, views of life and practices all have their root in culture. Preston International School reckons with this fact, which is why we make our students go on focused cultural excursions from time to time to engender valuable connection with their roots.
“Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other” - John F. Kennedy. Selected prefects of Preston International School for the 2018/2019 academic session went on a week-long intensive training programme at the Citizenship and Leadership Training Center, Sea School, Apapa, Lagos.
Learning is not just about staying in the classroom, Interactions with the environments matter too. Our excursions are not just for students to have fun, they also learn.
Tornado house students were on Saturday, the 3rd of March rewarded for their passionate effort during the just concluded inter-house sports competition with a party, where they balanced with their specially prepared Goat meat - “Asun”.
Preston International School’s first recruitment exercise for 2018/2019 session witnessed scores of aspiring Prestonians who wrote the entrance exams in different towns and cities across the country on the 3rd of March, 2018 – the 13th year of recruitment! This term, we held our annual anti-bullying week, which is designed to help deal with the issue of bullying among students and indeed among humans.
A wonderful term just went by in a twinkle of an eye with rewards showered out at all levels, appreciating and encouraging students who have put in their smartest effort to ensure they emerge with an outstanding result.
This time, it was different, unique and spectacular as Preston International School held its annual Christmas concert on the 14th of December, 2017.
