Nigerian Independence Day 2012
We celebrated Nigeria's 52nd Independence Day in grand style here at Preston International School. We started the day with a big parade around the school with the brass band and the marching drums taking the lead with the playing of celebratory tunes. All Prestonians assembled in the school hall for the Independence Day Party which was hosted by the Proprietor. We had fun games and speeches, drama sketches and singing. A big massive cake was cut and we all had a piece of it. It was big enough to go round everyone. Happy Independence Day, Nigeria!!
