On Monday, 12 October 2026, our Year 10 students took centre stage to share the knowledge, skills and insights gained during their two-week compulsory work experience programme.
Having explored professional life across various establishments, industries and companies, the students returned with fresh perspectives on their career interests and a deeper appreciation of how classroom learning applies in the workplace.
The exhibition gave students the opportunity to showcase their projects, presentations and reflective journals, sharing their accomplishments and lessons from the programme. Their experiences highlighted the importance of communication, teamwork, responsibility and adaptability in professional life.
Through placements spanning healthcare, finance, technology and entrepreneurship, the programme offered meaningful opportunities to explore career paths and develop practical skills.
At Preston, we prepare our students for life beyond the classroom. By connecting academic learning with practical experience, we help them build confidence, make informed choices and approach their futures with purpose.
