Preston International School proudly held its 2026 International Award for Young People Nigeria - Award Ceremony on 9th May, 2026, celebrating the participation and achievements of 92 participants who worked diligently over the past few months to complete the various sections of the Award.
The Proprietor of Preston International School, Dr. Toyin Ajayi, was recently honoured as the keynote speaker at a Leadership Summit organized by the Servant Leader Foundation, an initiative founded by Preston alumni with a passion for raising a new generation of purposeful and impactful leaders.
Preston International School has again won the Annual Kidscon Competition with an outstanding performance at the Obafemi Awolowo University Hall, FUTA on Saturday, 18th, May 2024 with several secondary schools across the state who were all gunning for the top spot.

Preston International School Akure firmly believes in the Aristotle's mantra that excellence is not an act but a habit. It's on this premise that the school organised the second term 2023/2024 academic session award ceremony. The event celebrated students who demonstrated excellence in behaviour, academics, skills, talents, leadership and creativity.
The Inauguration of the incoming 14th set of Prefects kicked off with the walk of honour of both incoming and outgoing prefects, after which they took their respective places on stage.

It was all sights and sounds on Saturday, 27th April 2024, as Preston International School celebrated Aqua House members for their teamwork, perseverance, and intense effort which made them champions of the keenly contested 17th Inter-house Sports Competition.
Preston’s Year 10 and Year 11 students took learning outside of the school’s environment to the Federal High Court of Nigeria (Akure Division), on Tuesday, 24th October, 2023 in a quest to gain firsthand knowledge of the legal system, court processes, and the cases handled by the Federal High Court.
Preston International School, on Monday, 16th October 2023 began the computer-based assessment test in line with our commitment to the UN's Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) 7 - "Ensure Environmental Sustainability".

Preston International School on Monday, 2nd October 2023 joined in the celebration of Nigeria’s 63rd Independence Day. A colorful event it was, as students participated in fun activities such as Early Morning Parade, Face of Preston, Speech and Talent Presentation on the theme - "Nigeria: Desperate for Real Independence".
The best house for the 2022/23 Academic session had a blast on Saturday, the 30th of September, 2023 hosted by the Directors, Mr & Mrs Ajayi in the school’s dining hall; this is in line with Preston’s reward policies, which remain outstanding, as everything matters. House members all have the responsibility to contribute to the house points' pot and the house with the overall highest points wins a party. Students gain points for a wide range of things, such as academic performance, good behaviour and attitude, participating well in extracurricular activities and for effort.

A great privilege it was for Preston International School to have attended the Annual Summit organized by Ondo State Environmental Protection Agency themed - "Combating the Menace of Plastic Pollution in Ondo 2.0; Action Time" which was attended by dignitaries, professionals of different fields, students’ leaders of higher Institutions in Ondo State, secondary school students and gentlemen of the press.
