6th Graduation Ceremony 2016-17

The 28th of July, 2017 goes down in the annals of the history of Preston International School, Akure as a memorable day in which the 6th set of students tagged ‘THE LAST OF THE TITANS’ - a name earned by virtue of the fact that they are the last set to meet the pioneering set in school – were released into planet earth – to work their divine missions as ‘human gods’ to bring about the much desired change we need in our society and nation.

Check out their portrait pictures here.

Today marked the culmination of their 6-year sojourn in this incubator (Preston International School) where young minds are moulded into great minds. What an event it was on that day. It just keeps getting better and better at Preston…. Oh, what such music was rendered! We had a well presented piece by the Salem Orchestra – Air from Water Music by G.F. Handel, Ore Baba Ga composed by one of our teachers – Mr. Oke Awosusi - and delivered with class by the Prestonians! Dream On (arr. By Ernie Haase & Signature Sound) Vocal soloist was our own melodic Melody (that’s her name). That was so inspiring. We also had a Male Quartet and Vocal Solo – I Trust in God and finally ‘Write Your Story’ by Francesca Battistelli so well delivered by the graduating class and conducted by one of the graduands Bright Babajide. Valedictorian Speeches were awesome; The valedictory message from the Proprietor Mr. Toyin Ajayi charging the graduating class to ‘be the gods they are created to be’ was equally passionately delivered. Taking his text from John 10:34 where Jesus said “Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?” When a man becomes born again, he gets a spirit that makes him to become a ‘human god’ just like Daniel in the Bible who had this testimony that “the spirit of the gods is in thee, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom is found in thee” (Daniel 5:14). Watch this space as these 'human gods' move out of Preston to invade the nation and bring about change!

Best overall graduating student was Ore Fasawe and best graduating female student was Tomiwa Akinlaja who carted away loads of prizes – mostly gizmo gadgets and even a refrigerator and lots of douche. No doubt, these students are fully prepared to do great things in their lives. It was such a beautiful day. We could go on and on and on…. All glory to God for the wonderful children and their families. Congratulations yet again! We had a wonderful reception in the school’s commodious dining hall. Great day! To God be the glory, great things He hath done!
