Conquering The
Virgin Land:
My Experience
as a Pioneer Prestonian
Few years back, this
distinguished School was nothing but a mere forest before our innovative and
indefatigable proprietor “Mr. Toyin Ajayi” was inspired by a great vision to
make a school in which the values and ethos will spread around the world.
On the 16th of September, 2006, the School resumed for the first time in
history. The School is in the process of being completed. The School has a
total land of 42 acres. When I first came, I was a little bit lonely because
everybody was on their own until almost all the parents had gone and left
their children.
We were the first set to tread the new world of Preston: the class book, the
interactive learning approach, the house point system and so on. It was
challenging but at the same time it offered us the privilege to be the first
set in Preston International School to witness the beginning of that great
seed. Since that day I have learnt some morals and also gotten more wisdom.
My wish is to be able to guide my juniors very well as a Pioneer Prestonian.
